Small, careful calculators for people who make perfume and blend essential oils at home.
What it does
Peach Lumin has four tools: a perfume blend calculator for top, heart and base note amounts, a fragrance concentration calculator, an essential oil dilution calculator and a scent pyramid builder. They are free, need no account, and every calculation happens in your browser. Saved recipes and pyramids stay in your browser's local storage.
Where the figures come from
Safety ranges and limits are quoted from the published sources named on each page, chiefly the Tisserand Institute and Tisserand & Young's Essential Oil Safety, NAHA, the IFRA Standards, the EU Cosmetics Regulation and the American Academy of Dermatology. Strength names such as eau de parfum are conventions with no legal definition, so they are shown as ranges. Rules of thumb, such as 20 drops per millilitre or a few weeks of resting time, are labelled as approximate.
What it cannot do
The calculators cannot see your oils, your skin or your health. They do not make claims about what any oil does, recommend products or replace a professional safety assessment. They are not medical advice: patch test, follow your suppliers' safety information, and ask a doctor or pharmacist when in doubt. If you spot an error in a figure or a source, the page it is on names the source, so you can check it.
